Which one should you choose?
Choose Pamukkale if you have limited time and want to see a UNESCO site in one day. Choose Cappadocia if you can spare two days and dream of seeing hundreds of balloons over the valleys at sunrise. If you have both the time and energy, do both – they are completely different experiences.

- Bring comfortable shoes; at Pamukkale you must walk barefoot on the terraces.
- Pack a jacket for Cappadocia – early mornings are cold, even in summer.
