Alanya Pirate Boat Trip: Prices, Route and Which Boat to Choose
The pirate boat trip is almost a rite of passage in Alanya. Most visitors do it once, and many come back for it every year. But there are several boats, and they are not all the same. Here is what to expect and how to pick the right one.
The route
Almost every Alanya boat trip follows the coastline around the Alanya Castle peninsula:
- Red Tower and the Seljuk shipyard – the symbols of Alanya, seen from the sea.
- Pirates' Cave, Lovers' Cave and Phosphorus Cave – the boat slows down so you can see inside.
- Cleopatra Beach – a swim stop near the most famous beach in Turkey.
- 2–4 swimming breaks in clear bays, with lunch served on board.
Which boat should you choose?
For families: the Pirate Boat (Premium)
The Alanya Pirate Boat Trip lasts about 6 hours and starts from €22 per adult (children from €12). Expect music, animators, games for kids and a foam party in the afternoon. Lunch and unlimited soft drinks are included.
For the full experience: Legend Big Kral
The Legend Big Kral is the largest pirate ship on the coast, with several decks, a quiet upper deck for sunbathing, DJ, shows and an open buffet. On beer & wine days, beer and wine are unlimited. About 9 hours, from €30.
For a quieter day: Rainbow boat tour
The Alanya Boat Tour is a smaller, calmer boat that departs from Avsallar – ideal if you want swimming and scenery rather than a party. From €20.
Just your group: private boat
A private boat or yacht lets you choose the time, route and duration. Popular for marriage proposals and birthdays.
