Alanya Castle & Ehmedek (Alanya Kalesi)

Perched high on a rocky peninsula, this massive Seljuk-era fortress offers panoramic coast views. While walking around parts of the outer walls is free, the inner citadel (İç Kale) and the Ehmedek section require a ticket.

Alanya Teleferik (Cable Car): ~€10.00 – €12.00 round trip (Private operator, prices fluctuate based on exchange rates; it takes you from Damlataş Beach up to the castle gates).

Alanya Archaeological Museum

Located near the cable car station at the base of the castle, this compact museum holds an exceptional collection of Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, and Seljuk artifacts, including the famous bronze statue of Heracles.

A small but fascinating cave right by the beach, discovered accidentally in 1948. It is famous for its stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and a constant 22.3°C atmosphere rumored to help asthma patients.

Side Archaeological Museum

Housed inside a beautifully restored Roman-era bathhouse, this museum features stunning statues, sarcophagi, and coins discovered during the excavations of ancient Side.

2026 Entry Price: €10.00 (Often sold as a combined ticket with the Side Theatre).

Side Ancient Theatre & Apollo Temple

The massive 2nd-century Roman theater stands at the entrance of the old town. While walking through the old town ruins and visiting the iconic beachside Temple of Apollo is completely free, entering the preserved Theatre requires a ticket.

The Best Way to Save: The Museum Pass

If you plan to explore beyond the beach and visit more than three historical sites during your stay in Turkey, purchasing an official digital pass is highly recommended. Ticket queues can get exceptionally long during the summer months, and the pass lets you skip the ticket windows.
