Kaleiçi (The Old Town)

This is the pulsating heart of central Antalya's nightlife. By day, it’s a historic maze of Ottoman-era houses and Roman walls; by night, the courtyards, rooftops, and narrow alleyways transform into a massive bar crawl.

The Vibe: Walkable, energetic, and authentic. You’ll find a mix of rock bars, jazz clubs, Irish pubs, and electronic music tucked into historic stone buildings.

The Crowd: A vibrant mix of young locals, college students, and independent travelers.

Antalya Marina & Konyaaltı Beach Park

Located right at the base of Old Town and stretching west along the coast, this area handles the bigger dance productions.

The Vibe: Sleek, electronic-focused, and highly visual. Konyaaltı features beachfront clubs where you can drink with your toes in the sand, while the Marina hosts large-scale open-air discos overlooking the yachts.

The Crowd: Mainstream partygoers, electronic music fans, and upscale crowds.

The Resort Strips (Lara, Kemer, and Belek)

If you venture outside the city center to the luxury resort zones, the nightlife shifts to massive commercial mega-clubs. Lara (east of the city) features upscale beach clubs with strict door policies. Kemer (45 minutes west) is famous for its massive, 2,000+ capacity open-air super-clubs that cater largely to package-holiday crowds and host international DJs.

Sponge Pub (Kaleiçi): A legendary Old Town staple built right into the ancient stone walls.

Tudors Arena (Kaleiçi): If you want a lively pub atmosphere that feels closer to a concert, this is the spot. They feature live bands every night of the week and have a massive open-air garden to cool off in.

Filika Café-Bar (Kaleiçi): A trendy courtyard and terrace bar that masterfully blends a relaxed cocktail lounge atmosphere early in the evening with a packed, DJ-led dance floor later at night.

Club Ceilo (Antalya Marina): Arguably the city's premier mega-club.

It features a massive open-air pool terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, a top-tier sound system, and a capacity of around 2,000 people. It's the place to go for house, techno, and commercial EDM.

Club 29 (Antalya Marina): Another massive open-air classic located right in the marina complex.

It plays a broader mix of mainstream global hits and high-energy Turkish pop, making it a great option for diverse groups.

Gaga Club (Lara): For an upscale, less chaotic night out, Gaga Club is a local favorite. Located near Lara Beach, it boasts a sleek design and premium cocktails.

Due to high luxury taxes (known as the Special Consumption Tax or ÖTV) on alcohol in Turkey, drinking out can be relatively expensive compared to the local cost of living.

💡 Money-Saving Tip: If you want to pre-game or drink on a budget, buy your alcohol at local Tekel Bayis (corner stores) or supermarkets like Migros, where prices are less than half of what you will pay inside a venue.

To ensure your night out goes smoothly, keep these practical rules in mind:

Beware the "Free Entry" Street Touts: In Kaleiçi and around the Marina, you will encounter slick promoters offering free entry or a free drink to a nearby club.

Avoid them. They often lure tourists into sketchy bars where you are hit with an astronomical, mandatory "service fee" or "drinks package" bill at the end of the night. Always walk into venues on your own accord.

The "Face Control" (Gender Ratio) Policy: The larger nightclubs in the Marina, Lara, and Kemer strictly enforce a damsız girilmez policy, meaning men cannot enter without women in their group. This is heavily enforced to keep the atmosphere comfortable and balanced inside. If you are a group of solo guys, stick to the pubs and live music venues of Kaleiçi, where this rule is rarely applied.

Dress Codes: Kaleiçi is incredibly casual—shorts, t-shirts, and sneakers are standard. However, if you head to the upscale beach clubs in Lara or mega-clubs like Gaga, leave the flip-flops and tank tops at the hotel. A strict "smart casual" dress code applies there.

All-Inclusive vs. Ultra-All-Inclusive: If you are staying at a resort, note that standard "All-Inclusive" packages only cover local alcohols (Efes beer, local table wine, and local spirits). If you want recognizable international brands (like Jack Daniel's, Hendrick's, or Red Bull mixers), you will need to upgrade to an "Ultra-All-Inclusive" package or pay a steep premium per drink.
